When considering writing for grant funding, one of your first challenges is finding funding sources that are closely matched to your interests and needs. The GrantProse website provides provides current Grant Alerts that you can peruse, and many Web Resources where you can search for grant funding opportunities. However, even with these resources, you may feel you need help.
There are a variety of considerations that you must keep in mind when searching for funding sources, and GrantProse can help you manage this process.
- How much funding do you need?
- How soon do you need the funding?
- For what period of time do you need funding?
- What kind of funding do you need (e.g., operational support, bricks and mortar, project implementation)?
- How complicated is the funding agency's request for proposal?
- Must you have payment in advance or can you be reimbursed for expenditures?
- How much regulatory oversight by the funding source can you manage?
- Etc.
For grant funding research services, GrantProse bills by the hour at $65/hr, with most research efforts involving 6-8 hours ($390 to $520). For this cost, we strive to identify at least three good funding prospects matched to your interests and needs, and will provide you a synopsis of each funding source that we identify. How well matched are your interests to the interests of the funding source? How challenging will it be for you to prepare a proposal? What is the likelihood of your success? How challenging will it be for you to administer the grant should you win an award?
We require payment in advance to conduct a search, and will refund 50% of this payment if you are not satisfied with the results of our search.
